Typical old market place.. Typical - for Portugal:) - castles, in the towns with big or small, high or less higher, old or more older but always very impressive castles for a Greek visitor ..
Lisbon Cows in Lisbon .. through the car of Maria Jose, across the Eden theater … and of course a walk to the castle of the capital!
Amazing to look all over the city view or at the high bridge ..and to listen that this special part of the castle is called ‘Hercules area’ ..
The Portuguese consider that he is one of the founders of their capital..
Calatrava’s constructions.. He is a well known architecture to the Greeks.. Because of his work at the main stadium of Athens for the Olympic Games 2004 Here in Lisbon I could recognize his special style of the buildings in the Oriente Station built for Expo 98. I could also see, among other buildings of great architects, the Portugal Pavilion designed by the great Portuguese architect Siza Vieira.
And because when you speak about Portugal all people think about the first great explorers who departed from this place.. A great monument is located here by the sea for reminding this.
