Our target is : Through these 3 years
of our project the children to realise
they are members of one wider educational
community in which they can have their own
small intervention , expressing it through a
variety of activities through a new tool
of work in their school life , this of
the computer and IT.
Our learning procedure : All the children that
participated in the project had become familiar
with the computer as an inseparable part
of their school life, that consists of one
more field , " corner of activities " offering in
this way to the children a daily - 10
minutes - contact with it.. The computer
which is available to the children is a
386 DX/40 MHz PC with colour screen SVGA
along with a printer HP 550 C. The graphics and
the text were made on the application Paintbrush
of Win. 3,1.
Parents: At one planned parents meeting there
was an extensive report and information by
the teacher the contents and the targets
of the project. The approval was almost general
and some of them wanted to help where it
was necessary.
Children : The first contact between the
children and the project occurred through photographs
, drawings and a book from the partners
schools of the partnership. At these points
we placed the 4 countries national flags
giving the them a quick stigma at the
European area . It was followed by a
detailed conversation based on the topics with
which we were able to be occurred with .
For having a better " touch " with our
" subjects" we have been visited places ,
spoken with some people who helped us to
understand better , collected photos, slides , posters
sometimes video discussing and making new
observations.
So the specific pedagogical procedure was
followed is:
first level : the living experience of
the topic each time .
second level : the transformation of this
experience in the oral speech and intellectual
level
third level : a visual production on the
computer of the already existing experience.
About the texts , the teacher tried to
carry out , not just the words of the
discussions but all the spirit and
"something else" that always exists every
time some ‘creative procedures ‘ take place .
Target : A software about the pre-school
education based on the analytical
programme of the pre-school education in Greece.
Contents : graphic exercises concerned the
above 5 section of the greek pre-school
education .
