Το  σχολείο  μας  από  τον  Σεπτέμβρη του  2002, συμμετέχει  ως  οργανωτικό μέλος  στο  δίκτυο  σχολείων  για  τα  δικαιώματα  του  παιδιού  και  την  προώθηση  της  ψήφισης  του  «Συνηγόρου  του  παιδού» μια  πρωτοβουλία  της  ευρωβουλευτού  Μυρσίνης  Ζορμπά. 
Στις  9/12/2002  συμμετείχαμε  με  έργα  των  παιδιών  στην  πανελλαδική  εκδήλωση  που  έγινε  στη  'Στοά  του  Βιβλίου'   στην  Αθήνα.
Στις  8/01/2003  ψηφίστηκε  από  την  Βουλή  ο  'Συνήγορος  του παιδιού.'  Στις  13/01/2003  παιδιά  του  σχολείου  μας  επισκέφτηκαν τον  Πρόεδρο  της  Δημοκρατίας  και  συζήτησαν μαζί  του και  του  έδωσαν  μέρος  της  δουλειάς  τους     που  αφορούσε  τα  παραπάνω. 
Στις  19-21 /01/2003  έως  τις  22  Ιανουαρίου  το  Νηπιαγωγείο  Καπαρελλίου  επιλέχτηκε   να  συμμετάσχει  μαζί  με  άλλα  11  σχολεία  δημοτικά -γυμνάσια  και  λύκεια  στα   Εγκαίνια της έκθεσης «Το Μέλλον της Ευρώπης είναι το Μέλλον των Παιδιών»
και σε  συζήτηση για τα δικαιώματα των παιδιών με την Άλκη Ζέη και  τη  Λότυ  Πέτροβιτς  Ανδρουτσοπούλου στο  Ευρωπαϊκό  κοινοβούλιο  στις  Βρυξέλλες.

Our  school  has  been  participating  as  an  organizer  member  of  a  school  Network  for  Children's  Rights  since  September  2002,  as  well  in  the  promotion  of  the voting  "the  Children's  Ombudsman",  an  initiative  of  Myrsini  Zorba  member  of  the  European  parliament.
On  9/12/2002,  we  participated  with  various  artworks  like  handicrafts,  drawings, hand  made  puppets,  in  a  happening  with  schools  from  all  over  Greece  which  was  held  in  "The  Book's  Gallery"   in  Athens.
On  8/01/2003  "the  Children's  Ombudsman"  was voted   by the  Greek  parliament.
On  13/01/2003  children  of  our  school  visited  the  President  of  Democracy Mr Stefanopoulos,  discussed  and  gave  him  an  Ombudswoman   puppet as  well    part  of  their  work  on  the  computer  titled:  "If  I  was  the  Children's  Ombudsman     On  19-21 / 01/2003  the  Kindergarten  of  Kaparelli was selected  to  participate  with  11  more  primary  and  secondary  schools  in  the opening  of  the  exhibition
"  The  Future  of  Europe  is  the  Future  of   children"
as  well  in  a  creative discussion  for  children's  rights  with  2  well  known  writers  involved,  Alki   Zei  and  Loty  Petrovits  Androutsopoulou   in  the  European  Parliament  in  Brussels.
The  exhibition  was  inaugurated  by the  Greek  minister  of  Education  Mr.  Efthymiou  and  the  Press  minister Mr  Protopapas.
